Planetarium.Net is the largest electronic community for planetarium professionals to interact and share information (nearly 1000 current members from every major planetarium around the world).  The site provides communication tools, centralized information, and user control in the Community area.  Additionally, Planetarium.Net moderates Dome-L, the email list for the planetarium field.  both of these tools are restricted to planetarium, astronomy, and space science educators.

A secondary purpose for the site is to connect learners with the expertise planetarians have to offer.
