Indeed last year I was working in a project that's exaclty about using Blender (Game Engine) as an accurate visualization tool for scientific data. It's not planetarium related, but scientists around here may like it.

Now I'm disliking the few seams I see even with this method. It'll work for preview but not for the final images.
Does anyone suggest another app to stitch the "cubemap" images into a fulldome one?
