Teaching People to Dream

Is anyone interested in previewing the educator's guide I'm putting together for my NASA grant-funded planetarium program (traditional, no less)?

You'll get a pdf in your email and my gratitude.

About 90 pages, just needs to be checked for accuracy, worthwhileness (my new word) of the activities.

Hi Sharon: I'm a planetarium tech and not trained as an educator, but I can give it a shot. I do know at least one guy here who is a very active, dedicated high school science teacher. He also is one of the presenters here at the Southworth Planetarium in Portland, Maine. www.usm.maine.edu/planet/ If you like I could ask him if he would like to read it and reply back to you.

Hi Steve -
Thanks so much for the offer. I would love to have a classroom teacher, high school level, read the guide; it's intended for middle school but I'd like to know if it's worthwhile for high school as well.

If you (meaning Southworth) get the show, he also might be interested in the classroom dvd ...

I see there's an "upload files" feature below. I'm going to try that - and probably freak out firefox again.

Sharon,
We would also be happy to review this. We have a team of experiential educators currently working on our outreach program and then can learn from, and provide you with feedback. Thanks!
